Olympic Weightlifting
Team Olympic Weightlifting
This is for those interested in training to compete in Olympic Weightlifting or in becoming a
Strength and Conditioning Coach. Training is scheduled 4-6 days a week. Programming is done for the team as a whole, with the exception of needed modifications for individual athletes. (Athletes with little or no prior lifting experience might be required to take Barbell Prep) Group Olympic Weightlifting Class
This is designed for people who are looking to learn the Olympic Lifts but not to compete or to
correct specific technique problems. Schedule and Fees Strength and Conditioning
The Strength and Conditioning system created by Sean Waxman follows similar principles
developed from the research of Dr. Verkhoshansky and Dr. Zatsiorsky: two of the primary architects of the training system that made the former Soviet Union dominant throughout the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. These principles along with nearly two decades as an elite Olympic Weightlifter, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Sports Scientist have given Sean a unique insight into what it takes to develop dominant athletes. Team Strength and Conditioning
This is for competitive athletes, or people looking to train like athletes. Training is done in small
groups to ensure each athlete gets the attention he/she requires. A small group of like-minded people creates and cultivates a competitive and supportive environment. This is vital for developing maximum performance. Programming will be tailored to meet the particular needs of each athlete. (Athletes with little or no prior lifting experience might be required to take the Barbell Prep) One-on-one Strength and Conditioning Coaching

train privately and behind closed doors. Barbell Prep
Athletes who have little or no experience with barbell exercises may be required to take the Barbell
