In this last quarter of 2019, we have available several exciting training and education options for lifters and coaches. Hope you can join us:

October 19: Basic Barbell Strength Clinic
(for everyone, no experience needed)

Develop strength at any age. Designed for adults* with little or no experience, we’ll teach you how to get stronger in ways that will improve your life. Features basic barbell instruction and natural movements that anyone can perform including squatting, hinging, and pressing.

* Under 18 welcome with parental approval.


October 20: Fix Your Technique Sunday
(for athletes, some experience with Olympic lifts required)

In this small-group coaching session, we’ll help you improve your technique in the snatch and clean & jerk. Provides you with individual coaching in a small-group environment. Sign-up now if you are interested, historically these sessions sell-out quickly.


November 9-10: USAW Level 1 Coaching Course
(intended for coaches, but athletes are welcome)

Earn your Level 1 coaching certification from USA Weightlifting in this survey course. Featuring discussion of rules, movement standards, teaching progressions, and programming for beginning lifters.


November 15-17: Waxman’s Weightlifting Method Coaching Course
(for coaches, trainers, and other fitness professionals)

In this 3-day immersive course, we share our methods and all our secrets  for teaching and fixing the Olympic lifts inside our gym. We provide you with our step-by-step teaching progressions, our framework for diagnosing and fixing technique errors, and guidelines for beginning programming.


November 23-24: USAW Level 2 Coaching Course
(for coaches only)

Earn your Level 2 coaching certification from USA Weightlifting in this advanced course with an emphasis on developing competitive weightlifters. Features discussion of program design, competition preparation and coaching strategies, as well as long-term development of weightlifters.


November 24: Fix Your Technique Sunday
